Swan Park
It was a wonderful summer morning, the sun was rising above the high mountains to the east. In Beijing Park, it was full of flowers and it was very tidy and organised. Suddenly, two swans flew down from the sky onto the blue lake. Never before had the Northern people seen such a beautiful white swan, then watchers called them Angle and Prince.
The Swans liked to perform for people. In the morning, they danced Ballet. They stood on the water and turned their bodies. When the sun light was falling on the green trees, Prince held Angel's hands , then they danced the Tango on the grass.
Sometimes, they enjoyed walking along the lake bank and talking very much. One day, Prince looked straight into Angel's eyes and gave her a bunch of beautiful Rose. She smiled and accepted the flower. Then they got married. He put his arms around her and held her close to him.....
On the first day of Autumn, people heard the news that an evil man had come to the Park, killed the Angel and taken her away.
In the Park, people saw Prince swimming lonely in the water. He screamed and looked for Angel everywhere, but he couldn't find her, his eyes were wet with tears. From that day, he didn't like to eat anything. After, he was very sick. On the last day of autumn, he looked around the very lonely lake, then he came out of the water and flew up into the sky.
Winter ended and spring came, but the lake was still empty. Spring ended and summer began, Prince didn't return.
Some people said "If swans are married, they love together for ever, when one dies and another one will die soon."
In front of the Park, there is a sculptural swan. This is why people changed the name of Beijing Park into the Swan Park.
