This is a beautiful and miserable story.
A long time ago, there was a very nice view- clear brook and blue Mountains in a valley in Hang Zhou in China.
There were two young men who studied with a grand teacher at a college in the valley. The two men love each other like brothers, and they lived together for 3 years.
One day, the younger man who was named Zhu- ying Tai received a letter from his father. He was very upset because his father ordered him to come back home and he did not want to go back yet.
However, he came back home, he couldn't go against his father.
The older man who was called Lia- San pao accompanied Zhu - ying Tai back home way for 9 kilometres, and Zhu invited Lia to visit him and wanted Lia to marry his sister on the way.
While Zhu left the college, Lia was always missing him.
Time passed, the teacher's wife told Lia that Zhu was a wonderful and fair girl. She just wore men's clothes and made her action like a man, it was only for her studying. And she loved Lia and wanted to marry him. That was Zhu talking and asking to the teacher's wife before she left there.
Lia was very happy and he quick left the college to visit Zhu. But the case had been changed.
When Zhu arrived her home, her father told her that she must marry Ma who had power and money, Zhu refused and preferred to chose to die, if her father wanted her to marry Ma. Her father was no way. This time Lia came to visit Zhu with happiness. However, Zhu's father didn't let Zhu meet Lia and expected Zhu to allow to marry Ma. Zhu had a clear idea that if she didn't agree with her father, she wouldn't meet Lia, so she agreed. Lia was very happy and Zhu was very sad when they met. Zhu expressed her heartfelt love and explained why she couldn't marry him now and begged his forgiveness. Lia was very angry and he wanted to go to court. Zhu told him that he couldn't win because he hadn't power and money. Lia was very disappointed and got a serous illness. At the end of the meeting they agreed that they couldn't marry in life, they decided that. They expected to be buried on Lia's tomb stone must be written both of their names. A few days later, Lia died in missing Zhu and indignation. When Zhu knew this news she affirmed that she had to go to Lia's burial ground before her wedding, if her father disagreed she killed herself immediately. Soon, Zhu arrived at Lia's burial ground and cried loudly in front of Lia's tomb. The sky clouded and suddenly there was lightning and thunder, then the Lia's tomb splited and Zhu rushed into Lia's tomb and the tomb closed. After that the sky was blue and the sun was shining and many flowers bloomed on the grass. Zhu's maid said: "look! Two beautiful butterflies." Two very beautiful butterflies were dancing and dancing around the tomb. People said: "These are Lia- San Pao and Zhu - ying Tai!"
